Wall Hanging

Red, pink, orange, and yellow silk embroidery

Pakistan’s embroidery traditions are deeply rooted in the history of the Indus Valley Civilization. Characterized by vibrant colors, geometric precision, and intricate needlework, regional techniques—such as Sindhi, Balochi, and Phulkari—feature unique motifs that hold cultural significance, utilizing materials like silk thread, beads, and hand-blown glass mirrors.

Pieces are embroidered in sections, then sewn together to create the full textile.
